Allow Us to Reintroduce Ourselves…

And we’re BACK! After a longgg hiatus and a much needed makeover, our blog (+ new website) is back! Allow us to reintroduce ourselves…

We’re a mother-daughter duo split between Texas and New York City. As lovers of all things art, design, fashion, and city life, we started a lifestyle blog in 2015. It was a sweet, little creative outlet for us. Back then, Autumn was still teaching, and Summer was in high school. Much has changed in our world since we spent an entire Christmas Break huddled on our couch in our pjs teaching ourselves how to make this pipe dream a reality. A rebrand has been a long time coming, 8 years in the making actually. We've had some major life changes and have both grown up a bit, so it was only fitting that our little adventure was revamped to mimic our personal and professional growth.

Let us bring you all up to speed. Autumn retired from teaching 6th grade ELA in 2020 just as the pandemic hit. Retirement was already part of the plan, but dang, based on the horror stories shared by some who continued in the profession post pandemic, we'd say it was the perfect time to step into a new season of life. So now, Autumn spends her days lunching, socializing, traveling, creating, painting, gardening, cooking, napping, and quite simply put, just doing whatever the heck she wants! Summer graduated from Belmont University in the fall of 2019 with a degree in Graphic Design and immediately moved to New York right before the pandemic hit, but she’s never looked back. She is now an official New Yorker, living out her 8 year-old childhood dream. She spends her days designing for LOFT, and her nights and weekends exploring museums, drinking iced coffee, picnicking in parks, shopping for sneakers, celebrating life with friends, constantly hosting company, eating oysters, and wondering how the heck she got so lucky.

With Autumn’s newly found free time, and Summer’s newly acquired skill set, we decided to rebuild the blog and add an online boutique of niche services specializing in the things we love most…home, fashion, design, and art. Whether you have been with us since the beginning, found us midway, or are just now discovering us, we’re glad you’re here, and we hope you’ll stick around a while!
