Quick Broccoli and Cheese Quiche Recipe

 

Gan (Autumn’s mom and Summer’s grandmother) gets all the credit for this recipe. She has been making this quiche for years. It’s easy and has just a few simple ingredients:

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 1/2 cups half and half

  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese

  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese

  • 1 cups cooked chopped broccoli

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1 TBS butter

  • 1 pie crust

Beat eggs and half and half together. Add in cheeses, broccoli, salt and pepper, and stir until combined. Pour into uncooked pie crust. Cut tablespoon of butter into six small pieces and place on top of quiche filling. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Enjoy!
